Key Worker and Co-living  Accommodation

At Moov Modular we believe it’s important to deliver homes and rental supply for workers and people starting out in their housing journey.  This is why we’ve focused on designing and delivering developments that offer this in the form of small, highly functionally dwellings that allow individuals to live in communities that are a relatively short commute to employment opportunities.  

Our modular homes are very suited to key worker accommodation with homes being able to be delivered fully equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas. These homes can range from 35 to 75 sqm depending on the requirements of the project. We can also offer multiple occupants key worker accommodation with double bed construction for duplexes.  

Getting these affordable homes to towns and regions that have a considerable need to support their workers, not just across Government departments but also for local workers like childcare, tradies, shop workers and everything in between, is a high priority for Moov Modular.  

A specific innovative home for this purpose is co-living housing which can be delivered in NSW under the Affordable Housing policies. Moov Modular has completed and designed a number of these projects which really suit the modular method of construction and delivery given their compact sizing.  

Co-living sites can greatly increase the level of rental supply in a region and allow new workers coming into the area to get a foot in the door and access accommodation. They contain communal areas as well as the privacy of individuals homes in either studio or one-bedroom apartment formats.
